Drum Rudiments.

So many people especially Nigerians get involve in so many activities without knowing the basic foundation of what they are into. Am going to take a look at the music sector because i really don't like the idea of instrumentalist playing what they don't even have a knowledge of.It's one thing to play,its another thing to know what you are playing.Today we shall discuss the drum rudiment.

DRUM RUDIMENTS.

Drum rudiment is the basic foundation of modern drumming.A proper knowledge of it puts you ahead of others.Drum rudiments are the magic behind the kits.There are so many drum rudiments,but we shall take a good look at this few.

PARADIDLE : RLRR LRLL
DOUBLE PARADIDLE : RLRLRR LRLRLL
TRIPLE PARADIDLE : RLRLRLRR LRLRLRLL

These three rudiment given above are powerful rudiments that needs proper understanding of both the speed techniques and application.
The R means right hand,while the L means left hand. That means the paradidle will be played: Right Left Right Right,Left Right Left Left. Just try it and see. Start very slow and try increasing your speed as you progress. Use the same techniques for all the other.
